Our nonprofit was created by a group of ambitious and innovative high school students, passionate about solving the racial issues in the education system in their community. Through extensive research and creating strategies to help schools in the area, our nonprofit began.

Here at BEM INC., we’re committed to using resources in our community to reduce the achievement gap in young, black elementary school students in urban Maryland locations., through educational and social means.
